CARLINE   BEAUBRUN

WRITING LIKE A BOSS

Carline is intentional and is not afraid to speak her mind. When she writes, she is not trying to be a “writer,” she is just herself, allowing her readers to connect with her. She often finds the story will tell her where it wants to begin and where it wants to end.

Her stories often have less to do with their subject than with their significance — not what she did in a certain situation, but how that situation affected her and helped shape the person she became. For her, writing is an act of healing. In her writing she tells her readers she is not a victim. Her writing is full of love and lessons learned. She has survived without resentment, and is living her best  life.

She knows what matters is the writing itself, not where it is published. Her writing is hers and nobody else’s. She takes all of her experiences and talents as far as she can and guards them with her life. She believes in herself, takes risks, dares to be different and pushes herself to excel. She is an author, blogger, and contributing writer whose writing has impacted thousands of readers.

AUTHOR

Women are told to be brave, strong, and fearless despite what the world throws at them. When everything around us is falling apart, we have to stand firm with an unmoving resolve to push through. It is an exhausting space to be in and it is a mentality that leads to many of us feeling broken, alone and confused.

Carline is the eldest of five children. She left her parent’s home when she was 21 and had to find her way as an entrepreneur. She is not a stranger to domestic abuse, being a single parent, depression, a shuttered business, bankruptcy, having to be everything for everyone, and not having the opportunity to find herself.

She chronicles her riveting story in her self-help memoir series Flying Solo. It is a series dedicated to women like her who are going through difficult life changes, broken relationships, loss, being single mothers, and dealing with the challenges of finding one’s self and happiness through it all. Carline takes you through her journey at different stages of life while providing you with actionable steps to help empower you to be bold, brave, and beYOUtiful.

WHY CARLINE
LOVES  TO  WRITE

Writing allows Carline to do three things that she finds particularly enriching.

#1 - Expressing her experiences, knowledge, opinions, and beliefs.

Carline is passionate about many things, love many things, and enjoy experiencing different things. There are so many things to enjoy about life like...
  • new restaurants with great ambiance and food that tantalise your taste buds,
  • enjoying live jazz bands,
  • discovering new music,
  • making time for new and old friendships,
  • indulging in oreo chocolate mousse cake after a long day (mmm… HEAVENLY),
  • starting a new business venture,
  • falling in love,
  • and being wowed as she discovers new things about herself everyday as she grows.

Each of these experiences helps make Carline who she is. So, she shares a piece of herself with the world when she writes about her experiences. As a spiritual believer who has gone through many challenges in her life, she is grateful for every experience - the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. She knows that her faith is what helped her survive and thrive. She carefully and clearly weaves that into her writing and strives to live in a way that represents how grateful she is.

#2 - Carline loves to inspire others.

Carline absolutely adores the idea of inspiring even just one person to follow his or her passion. This is her biggest motivation for writing!

She has a soft spot for women of all ages. She wants women to look at her blogs, books, business, and everything she’s building every day, and say, “If she can do this, maybe I can, too!”

All of her life experiences are (or will be) on paper, and they’re not going anywhere. Her hope is that she’ll inspire millions of women through using her writing to share her experiences.

#3 - Carline wants to leave her mark on the world.

She wants to leave a lasting legacy. Her time on this earth is ephemeral so she wants to ensure that she’s leaving the world better than she found it. She intends to write many blogs, books and manuscripts. This content, she hopes, will keep her work circulating for many years to come, even beyond the day when she takes her final breath.

This is her dream. But, she doesn’t own a crystal ball so she can’t see the future. She doesn’t know if the content she creates will truly have this huge impact. Nonetheless, she’s okay with it just being enough for her mom, siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews… because she knows they’re proud of her and everything she’s accomplished.

Carline is so excited about her future family members reading about the impact she made on this world. It’s been a lot of hard work and sacrifice. But, it’s all been worth it in the end. This is her ultimate motivation!
